2026-07 trip to Puerto Vallarta

I stayed at the Riu Palace Pacifio. I had an ocean front room and paid the extra fee for the Elite Club.

I had a lovely time. The quality of the food, the great service, and the comfort of the room met my expectations. The cost was fair for the value I received. I rate this resort a solid 9.5 out of 10.

Now, it’s important to remember what one person loves, another person will despise. I heard a couple of people complain about the food, but I thought it was fabulous. I didn’t hear anyone complain about the service.

The grounds at the Riu Palace Pacifico are beautiful.

The sand is soft and the water is calm. This is a lovely place to relax and recharge.
